| Hi guys: I can use your thoughts on this topic. I am installing a mono-amp to drive a woofer. I don't want the amp to be in plain view so the only two logical locations are behind the seat or under the passenger seat. Q: can you really fit an amp under the passenger seat? These amps are large (the smallest one I found is the Alpine MRP-M450 which is 9-3/4"W x 2-3/8"H x 9-9/16"D) Q: if indeed you can fit it under the seat, then is there a clever way to mount the amp without drilling thru the chassis? I prefer not to create holes where rust can start. Q: if I were to mount it vertically behind the driver seat, how to securely attach it? should I fabricate a bracket or plate? Where is a good place to attach it? Q: May be I should just mount it on the center area behind the seats and get them cover made by Chris? Same question on how to mount the amp without popping holes to the chassis? Thanks for sharing your experience. dewey
